Thanks for the input Drew! I haven’t stepped into Blockbuster in months and I think that there are other customers out there like me. Rented “I Am Legend” through iTunes and had a good experience.

Haven’t given NetFlix a try yet, but hear that many people love it, so I may try to low-tier plan and see how that works.

Yes blockbuster is dead. At the beginning of ’03 they traded as high as $21 a share. In ’05, well before the current bear market, they were down to $3 a share after they’re “no more late fees” debacle. They’re still holding steady at that price. Netflix was trading at $9 in ’04 with practically no assets and has been climbing ever since. It’s now at $39 and shows no signs of slowing, unlike other stocks such as GE, various airlines, and mortgage companies. The people have spokes through the free market, Blockbuster has been sentenced to death and Netflix is the executioner, slowly strangling the life out of Blockbuster’s fat bloated carcass.
