(Almost) Daily How-To #46
Listening: “After the Rain” by John Coltrane while the rain patters on my window at work.
Thinking: I wonder why people get Curtis and I mixed up. I also wonder if Curtis finds this to be a compliment or an offense. Here’s the deal: we both work at Grace, we both blog (check out Curtis’ blog), we’re both religious studies majors, we have mad Photoshop skills, we love LOLcats, we love The Office… I could go on and on. Anyway, here’s a pic of me wearing Johnny’s thick-rimmed glasses and a pic of Curtis with his snazzy new specs. You can decide for yourself whether we look alike.

Thankful For: The staff of Grace, it was encouraging in staff meeting yesterday to hear so many stories of lives being changed by their ministries. Sometimes we take for-granted the place where we work, worship, and share life together. I’m so blessed to be here.
How to Make Me Laugh: Kerri’s little son making faces at me from his stroller, it makes my Wednesday mornings better.
How to Annoy Me: When I unsubscribe from a company’s e-mail lists (yes, they have multiple) and I receive just as many (if not more) e-mails when I unsubscribe. To anyone that manages an e-mail list, I highly recommend ExactTarget.
Quote of the Day: “Remember even though the outside world might be raining, if you keep on smiling the sun will soon show its face and smile back at you.” – Anna Lee
Picture of the Day: The park behind our building becomes a retention pond because of all the rain.
