(Almost) Daily How-To #49

Posted by Kiel on Feb 18, 2009

Listening: “Brigher Days” by Leeland.

Thinking: I wish there was an independently-owned coffee shop on Main Street in Carmel. Don’t get me wrong, Starbucks is okay, but it’d be nice to have a nice little shop down the street from me that wasn’t owned by a big corporation.

Thankful For: My Dad and looking forward to having lunch with him and Sharon today!

How to Make Me Laugh: Being at Shepherd Community last night for girls’ club night and one of the girls ran up to Chad and called him “Daddy.” Ahhh, it was priceless!

How to Annoy Me: Hmmmm, I have to think about this one…. OH! Seeing Noah in the cafe line this morning, being Mr. Grumpy Pants. Dude, it’s 9 a.m., wake up! Ha ha!

Fun Fact: I learned that my Myers-Briggs personality type is INFJ. What’s your type?

Quote of the Day: “The thing I remember best about successful people I’ve met all through the years is their obvious delight in what they’re doing . . . and it seems to have very little to do with worldly success. They just love what they’re doing, and they love it in front of others.” – Fred Rogers, a.k.a “Mister Rogers”

Pic of the Day: Our middle school ministry, Fuse, took three Foosball tables and “fused” them into one. I like to call it “Fuseball.” Ha ha!
