(Almost) Daily Ramblings #62
What I’m Listening To: “1, 2, 3, 4″ by the Plain White T’s
Accomplishment of the Weekend: I went for a walk on the Monon with my mini-marathon training group on Saturday, got some shopping done, got a good bike ride in on the Monon on Sunday, and cleaned the apartment. Woo hoo!
Favorite Part of the Weekend: Picnic with my friends! Steph made some good macaroni salad, Faith and Betsy made potato salad, and I brought a strawberry creme roll, McAlister’s Sweet Tea, and some hummus/pita chips. It was a great wrap-up to the weekend! Later that night I took a prayer walk around the park… very refreshing!
Video of the Day: This past week at Citizen’s Police Academy, we talked about operating while intoxicated (OWI). The officer showed us this funny video from the show, Reno 911. Driving under the influence isn’t a laughing matter, but since this guy isn’t intoxicated, it makes it downright hilarious.
Picture of the Day: We had a good time going to Chick-Fil-A after church on Saturday. Faith thought it’d be fun to get a kid’s meal. Ahh, those Chick-Fil-A kid’s meals have fun facts on the bag and she just had to look inside the bag for the answers to the questions. Good times… good times.

Quote of the Day: We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.” – Mother Teresa
What I’m Looking Forward To: Meeting our new H.S. guy Kerry Snyder in 3 weeks!
Ha ha! You think mighty highly of yourself! LOL.
I am looking forward to meeting the awesomeness that is Kerry. I will be back from Florida, so I’ll have been baking in the sun, it will be good times.
Nahhhh… I don’t actually at all. And I don’t take myself to seriously either. Im just trying to prepare for the hard time I hear you like to give the HS guy. Trying to work in an early jab here and there!
