About

My name is Kiel and I can be a mystery, even to myself. I am a big fan of learning, yet I typically don’t enjoy spending time in a classroom (I would rather read, visit museums, or go places). I love music, but rarely get to play piano (although I do sing in my car, at home, and in the office). I am intrigued by theology, but hate reading books on it (I’d rather engage in a thought-provoking conversation).

I have been slowly working towards my Bachelor’s of Religious Education in Pastoral Ministry. I still want to be a law enforcement road chaplain who works with police officers, their families, civilians on the department, and crime victims and their families. If I couldn’t do that, I’d be content working in the technology sector or doing social work of some kind.

I first created The Wyote Blog as a testing platform for blogging at my church. While the church hasn’t fully decided where it wants to go with blogging, I have continued on and enjoy it.

In a previous life, I wanted to be a journalist. So having this blog gives me the perfect opportunity to just have a place to express my opinions. My opinions, however popular or unpopular as they may be, are my own.

Thanks for stopping by!
