(Almost) Daily How-To #3

Listening: “We All Need Saving” by Jon McLaughlin

Reading: An article about FOX News called “The Most Biased Name in News” by Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting

Thinking: My new video card is friggin’ sweet.

How to Annoy Me: Select someone as your vice-presidential candidate, send her all around the country saying that the other candidate wants to meet with certain world leaders without pre-conditions. But when the media asks her what pre-conditions are, she can’t define it. John McCain, if you say that there’s no room for on-the-job training, what are you doing selecting Sarah as your VP?

How to Charm Me: Laugh with me. :-)

Quote of the Day: “The present generation, wearied by its chimerical efforts, relapses into complete indolence. Its condition is that of a man who has only fallen asleep towards morning: first of all come great dreams, then a feeling of laziness, and finally a witty or clever excuse for remaining in bed.” – Søren Kierkegaard

Colin Powell Endorses Obama

Posted by Kiel on Oct 19, 2008

Colin Powell is someone that I deeply respect. I have heard him talk at the Willow Creek Leadership Summit and know of what a good man he is. His support of Obama shows some good bi-partisan judgement. This is a man who worked in the Bush administration who is saying, “Obama is the guy we need to elect.”

And in the video below, you’ll see that he does it in a very classy way… not demeaning John McCain as an individual, but focusing on the issues.
